Early voting for the Nov. 3 midterms is underway in Arkansas, and 40/29's data team is tracking early and mail-in ballots nationwide using University of Florida Election Lab data. Benton County saw 6,513 ballots cast on the first day of early voting, Oct. 19, compared with 3,669 on day one in 2022. "Yesterday was a little busier than what we'd actually expected," said county election coordinator Kim Dennison.
